Bespoke, without the theatre
Made to measure at UWC means your pattern is drafted from zero. No base block pulled off a shelf and tweaked. Priya measures, drafts, cuts a toile, and only then does your actual fabric get touched.
The process takes eight to ten weeks and three fittings. Between fittings the garment lives on the bench being sewn, pressed and corrected. You are welcome to drop in and see it mid-build; most clients do at least once.
When it is done, your pattern is filed. Repeat orders skip the drafting fee and most of the fittings, which is why second pieces cost about a fifth less.

Every price includes drafting, fabric from the wall, all fittings and the first year of adjustments.

Deposit of 50% starts the draft. Balance is due only after the final fitting, when you have worn the finished piece in the mirror.
Unusual fabric requests are welcome. If it can be legally bought in Australia, we can probably sew it. Exotic imports may add sourcing time.

Priya drafts every bespoke pattern by hand and cuts the cloth. Dan runs the fittings and the finishing. Nothing gets outsourced, nothing leaves the building until both of them sign off on it.
