What custom tailoring means here
Every tailored piece starts as a conversation at the bench, not a form. You tell us what the garment has to do: work site, office, weddings, or just surviving a Brisbane summer without sticking to you. Then we measure, pick fabric off the wall, and draft to your body rather than a size chart.
Fittings happen in the studio, three of them for most jobs. First is the skeleton fitting in calico or the actual cloth, second refines the shape, third is the finish line. If something sits oddly at pickup, adjustments are free for twelve months.
Your pattern goes into a labelled envelope on our shelf. Order the same piece again in a different fabric and the price drops, because the hard part is already done.

Prices include GST, studio fabric and all fittings. Rush jobs under four weeks carry a 25% loading and only if the bench has room.
A 50% deposit starts bespoke work. The rest is due at your final fitting, after you have seen the finished garment on your body.

The real garment, near done. Small corrections get made here before finishing.

Final press, a walk-through of care instructions, and your pattern filed for next time.

Every tailored piece passes two pairs of hands. Priya drafts the pattern and owns the maths. Dan does the cutting, the tricky seams and most of the first fittings himself. Between them: twenty-plus years of trade time and a very low tolerance for puckered seams.
