The alteration menu
Half the wardrobes in Brisbane are one alteration away from being great. The pants that bunch at the shoe, the jacket with the saggy shoulder, the vintage find that is ninety percent perfect. That last ten percent is our whole job.
You bring it in, we pin it on you or chalk it on the bench, quote it on the spot, and the price we say is the price you pay. If the job turns out bigger than it looked, that is our miss, not your invoice.
Complex work is welcome. Shoulder reductions, jacket recuts, taking structured pieces down two sizes: that is the stuff most alteration shops refuse. We keep the bench for exactly those jobs.
Alteration prices
Quoted on the spot when you bring the garment in. These are the common jobs.

Unusual jobs get quoted individually but always before work starts. Delicates and lined garments sit at the top of each range.
Drop-off is walk-in, no booking needed. If the garment needs pinning on your body, allow ten extra minutes.

We pin or chalk the changes and quote a firm price while you watch.
You approve
Say yes and the job goes on the board. Say no and you take the garment home, no charge.
The work
Cut, sewn, pressed. Three to five days unless we tell you otherwise at drop-off.
Try it on
Try it at pickup before you pay. If it is not right, it goes back on the bench, not home with you.

Tom runs the alteration bench
Tom does most of the alteration work, and Priya steps in for anything with a lining, a shoulder or an ego. Between them they have fixed everything from wedding suits to a mascot costume. That last one is a story for the studio, ask us about it.
